WeNatur Pomegranate Molasses – in Turkish “Katkısız %100 Nar Ekşisi”, in German “Granatapfelsirup” – is a traditional Turkish sauce made by slowly reducing the juice of ripe pomegranates. It contains only pomegranate juice and rock salt and comes in a 330 g glass bottle.

It is dark and syrupy with a pronounced pomegranate flavour; tartness leads, rounded off by a light sweetness. In the kitchen it is used with olive oil in salad dressings, in meat and chicken marinades, and in kısır, lentil köfte, muhammara and dolma.
